Shooting Range Etiquette: Do’s and Don’ts

Respect and safety are the cornerstones of a positive shooting range experience. At LA Guns and Range, we teach new shooters the unspoken rules that keep everyone safe and make range time enjoyable.

Do: Follow Range Commands

Always listen to the Range Safety Officer (RSO) and follow posted commands. Clear communication ensures a safe environment for all.

Don’t: Handle Firearms During Ceasefire

When a ceasefire is called, step away from the firing line and don’t touch your firearm. Safety first, always.

Do: Clean Up After Yourself

Pick up your brass and trash when you’re finished shooting. Respect for the facility keeps it clean and welcoming for everyone.

Don’t: Distract Other Shooters

Avoid unnecessary noise or sudden movements that could break a shooter’s concentration. Courtesy keeps the atmosphere professional and respectful.
